Eleanor Baker

With a degree in Physics and a Masters in Environmental Technology, Eleanor began her career in 1990 with London Transport, planning new railways to serve the needs of the city 20-30 years ahead.

From there she moved to ETSU, where she researched the impacts of transport technologies and policies on the environment.

She joined Risk Solutions in 1998, seeking greater opportunity for direct client contact and work that really makes a difference to the way people do things.

Since then she has worked on an enormous variety of projects for a wide range of clients in the public and private sectors, in fields as diverse as asset management, animal disease and climate change.

As well as work for clients, Eleanor has most recently been in charge of Risk Solutions' recruitment, development and training programmes. Outside work she keeps chickens and enjoys making jam from produce grown on her 2-acre smallholding.
