Michelle has a reputation for delivery of multi-disciplinary projects to time and cost in strategic policy areas. She is flexible and resourceful, able to adapt project plans to deal with unexpected delays or difficulties.
Originally a process engineer and engineering project manager in the nuclear industry, this developed her eye for detail. An MBA and a period out of Risk Solutions working for Barclays Capital means that she is extremely familiar with financial and management accounting issues, and using financial analysis to support decision making. She is skilled at presenting complex information in clear and informative ways. Michelle is Risk Solutions’ plain English champion, providing training for our team and delivery partners.
She is the Risk Solutions’ lead in evaluation and is a member of CECAN( the Centre for the Evaluation of Complexity Across the Nexus (of Water, Food, Energy and Environment).
Michelle lives in the middle of a field in Cheshire with two enormous and very daft rescued lurchers who will, occasionally, yield sofa space to other members of the family. In her spare time (?) she is active in local politics and national campaigning, as well as a reading group that seems to run on red wine.
BSc (Hons) Chemical Engineering, Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Distinction), Manchester Business School, Winner of Halifax Prize 2001 for Executive MBA Programme
