The Centre for Research in Social Simulation (CRESS), based in the Department of Sociology at the University of Surrey, is a multidisciplinary centre bringing together the social sciences, software engineering and agent-based modelling to promote and support the use of social simulation in research in the human sciences.

We work with CRESS because of the opportunities if gives us to understand how modelling can help bring clarity to policy-makers and decision-makers tackling today’s complex problems.
